My name is Lisa Danforth. I earned my Elementary/Special Education degree from Dakota State University in Madison, SD. I went on to teach in the Sioux Falls School District for nine years. From there, I taught three years in the Dell Rapids School District before coming to Garretson.   This is my fourth year teaching 5th grade at Garretson Elementary.  I am married with two children.  In my free time I enjoy riding horses, exercising, hunting, and barrel racing. I also enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
